Dr Seuss and His Works
Dr Seuss – Full name “Theodor Seuss Geisel”, born in Springfield Massachusetts, his Father was “Theodor Robert” and Mother “Henrietta”. There are numerous legendary works to augment dr seuss’s name and fame across the world. He has won the most popular Awards for his works. Twice he won “Lewis Carroll Shelf Carroll Award”, one for “Horton Hatches the Egg”, in 1958 and another for “And To Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” in 1961.
Most of the adaptations of his works were re-created as TV serials, feature films, musical shows, Plays, Television series, Televisions specials, etc. Out of his numerous works,

1 Broadway Musical creation, etc
400 Political cartoons (His cartoons highly illustrated and supported strongly the President Roosevelt’s way of handling the World War II, especially the Republican party)
He was famous for his Illustrations and Political cartoons, and he has worked in both these fields. And not to forget his incredible work “Design for Death”, this he wrote at the time of World War II when he was working for US army in the Animation Department.. This was pictureized as a documentary feature film which won the “Academy Award for Documentary Feature” in 1947.
